ECOVADIS PLATINUM MEDAL: NATEEO RANKED IN THE TOP 1% GLOBALLY FOR ESG PERFORMANCE
In 2025, Nateeo confirmed its commitment to ESG by obtaining the Platinum medal from Ecovadis, the highest recognition awarded by the international organization that assesses the sustainability performance of companies throughout the supply chain.
With an overall score of 84/100, Nateeo ranks in the top 1% of companies in the vegetable and animal oils and fats sector assessed over the last 12 months, achieving excellence in key areas such as the environment, labor, ethics, and human rights.
This assessment is not only a prestigious achievement, but also a concrete guarantee for customers, partners, and stakeholders. EcoVadis is now the global standard for sustainability management in the supply chain: over 150,000 companies worldwide use this assessment system to measure, improve, and enhance their ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) performance.
For Nateeo, ranking in the 99th percentile (top 1%) of companies assessed by EcoVadis in the “vegetable and animal oils and fats” sector is recognition of a daily commitment that involves every level of the organization. The selection and traceability processes for suppliers and raw materials, responsible management of environmental and social impacts, and a corporate culture based on respect and transparency are the pillars of an operating model geared towards continuous improvement.
“This recognition is an incentive to continue with determination in promoting our commitments to sustainability, ethics, and social responsibility,” said Silvia Santarelli, CEO of Nateeo. “For us, sustainability is not only a responsibility, but a concrete opportunity to create long-term value, innovate, and contribute to a more resilient, transparent supply chain that respects people and the environment.”
The EcoVadis recognition highlights a business vision based on the quality of raw materials, proximity to the agricultural world, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Nateeo works every day to connect the work of farmers with the needs of the food industry, transforming raw materials into healthy, safe, and sustainable ingredients that generate value throughout the supply chain.
“This result,” concludes Silvia Santarelli, “is an important milestone in a constantly evolving journey. The Platinum medal is an achievement that belongs to everyone at Nateeo, to the team that works with passion and expertise every day, and to our partners who share the same vision for the future: my thoughts of appreciation and gratitude go out to all of them.”
