MORE VALUE TO INGREDIENTS, CEREAL DOCKS FOOD ON MEDIA

The role of Cereal Docks Food in the market of ingredients for the food industry is further strengthened, thanks to the FSSC 22000 certification, an authoritative international certification standard specific for food production, to which is added the confirmation for the second consecutive year of the status of Golden Supplier of EcoVadis, an international platform that evaluates the sustainability of suppliers in global logistics systems.

Two important results: the first certifies and guarantees the adoption of the best standards relating to food safety along the entire production chain, while the second highlights the commitment of Cereal Docks Food with respect to economic, environmental and social sustainability of the company.

It is no coincidence that the two awards have also attracted the attention of the press, with Il Giornale di Vicenza which dedicated an in-depth article to our company, in which the managing director Silvia Santarelli speaks about the activities, prospects, the business model and the synergies that have allowed the company to achieve constant growth over the years in terms of innovative products, applications and working methods.

“Our business model – explains Silvia Santarelli in the interview – is based on the direct relationship with customers. We place the customer at the center of our attention: from customer service, to distribution and logistics, from product customization, to pre-sales, up to to after-sales. Ours is a ‘short’ supply chain, because the parent company has direct relations with the agricultural world: in this way the distance from farm to fork becomes shorter”.

“Putting the customer at the center – continues Santarelli – also means developing excellent listening skills, which is the secret that allows us to intercept new opportunities to develop valuable ingredients and satisfy needs not only in terms of food but also nutritional. The demand for differentiated products is growing, as people’s awareness of the role of nutrition based on natural, healthy and ethical foods. Our task – concludes the interview – is to continue to create development opportunities in the food sector to meet nutritional and relationship needs, strongly rooted in food”.
